SEN Teaching Assistant

Future Education has a new exciting position that we are recruiting for as a SEN Teaching Assistant for a special educational needs school located within the area of Croydon. The specific school that we are recruiting a SEN TA for caters for Secondary SEN children with Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties. Location: Croydon, London Area Position: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant Contract Type: Temp to Perm Salary: £83.33 To £95 SEN TA Job Duties Support students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Assist the classroom teacher in adapting learning materials and resources to meet individual learning styles. Provide 1:1 support to pupils during lessons, helping them to focus and engage in their learning. Encourage positive social interaction and help with developing communication and life skills. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and classroom teachers. SEN TA Job Specification Previous experience working with children with SEN, either in a classroom or care setting, is desirable but not essential. A caring, patient, and empathetic approach with a genuine passion for helping children with SEN succeed. Flexibility, creativity, and a proactive attitude in addressing individual student needs. Minimum GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
