Plant Operator - Energy from Waste

This crucial Plant Operator role comes with a salary of £52,143 + benefits. Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will: Perform operational duties on the main boiler, FGT plant and turbine using DCS. Carry out routine testing of plant equipment and inspections when required, recording data accurately and efficiently. Monitor performance of plant and ensure optimal performance. Monitor security systems and CCTV on site. Provide clear and comprehensive shift handovers. Undergo training and development competence in line with on site safety rules. Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Similar operational experience in Energy from Waste or other power sector. Experience with SCADA as a minimum, DCS highly sought after. Royal Navy/Marine Engineer applications welcome. Level 3 in relevant engineering subject as a minimum. Computer literate. Personal skills The Plant Operator role would suit someone who: Is able to work a shift pattern. Responds to high pressure situations in a calm and logical way. Is adaptable and flexible. Salary and benefits of the Plant Operator role £52,143 + benefits Shift rotation with 12 consecutive rest days.
