Key Details: * Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) * Location: Lambeth, South London * Contract: Full-time * Salary: Competitive, based on experience * Start Date: Immediate or January 2025 Responsibilities: * Provide individual and group support to students in a classroom setting. * Assist students with learning difficulties and those with special educational needs (SEN). * Work closely with teachers to implement educational plans and provide tailored support. * Support student behavior management and promote a positive learning environment. * Help students with tasks, including reading, writing, and other subject areas. * Encourage student participation and build confidence in their learning abilities. * Assist in the development of learning resources and classroom materials. Candidate Requirements: * Experience as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or in a similar role within a school setting is desirable. * A passion for supporting children’s learning and development. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with students with diverse needs. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. * Experience working with SEN students is an advantage but not essential.
