Senior OIL Contracts Expert

We are working with a Oil Trading company based in London who are looking to recruit for a Senior OIL Contracts Expert to join them on a permanent basis.

£105,000 p.a. + Performance Bonus & Excellent Benefits .

Main duties will include:

• Facilitate clear, concise communication of the rights, obligations, and liabilities within Commercial and UK Marketing contracts to maximize revenue, minimize costs, and proactively manage potential issues.
• Collaborate closely with legal and other internal teams on contract status, coordinating the acceptance of contract terms to ensure a strong legal framework.
• Lead contract negotiations with third parties.
• Oversee and provide guidance for effective contract management operations that align with business objectives.
• Promote the development of best practices, ensuring alignment with company goals and reporting requirements, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provide contract support for corporate initiatives, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), or system changes.
• Proactively identify and implement efficiencies within the contracting process.
• Participate in internal and external assurance audits as required.
