Senior Consultant / Permanent Vertical Manager

£45,000 to £60,000 Base Salary + Commission (no threshold up to 35%)

This is a new opportunity to manage the permanent team within an established life science recruitment business.

• Opportunity for an experienced 360 permanent life science recruiter with a proven track record of first class delivery, innovative business development and the mindset to develop and manage a team.
• Our client is seeking an experienced 360-degree permanent recruitment professional to work closely with the Department Head, and the Head of Client Services, in defining and driving their permanent recruitment growth plan for the next 3-5 years. The role will initially have two direct reports.
• Initially, you will focus on generating new business opportunities and fulfilling client requirements by sourcing and placing top-tier professionals within your selected pharmaceutical vertical across Europe and/or the United States. As the role evolves, you will also be responsible for expanding the team in key growth areas through new hires and service development.
• Strategy: Develop the growth plan for the permanent recruitment team, identifying key verticals, geographic expansion areas, and service offerings.
• Business Development: Proactively build and maintain a robust client pipeline to ensure a consistent flow of new business opportunities across retained, exclusive, and contingent projects. You'll cultivate strong professional relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer care at all times. Identify and leverage potential cross-selling opportunities.
• Team Growth: Collaborate with leadership to recruit and train new consultants, accelerating profit growth and contributing to the overall success of the team
• Remuneration: Competitive base salary between £45,000 to £60,000 & company benefits package, commission structure up to 35% with no threshold. Guaranteed/enhanced first-year commission.
