Role – Warehouse Supervisor (PM Shift) Company – Leading 3PL Provider Location – Bedford Salary - £30,000 - £32,000 annum + Benefits Shift Pattern – Monday to Friday (14:00 - 22:00 or similar) Exciting Career Opportunity: Warehouse Supervisor Are you a dynamic Warehouse Supervisor looking to make a significant impact at a flagship distribution centre in Bedford, working for a leading 3PL Warehouse provider? Company Overview: Loom Talent Limited have been exclusively appointed by a rapidly growing, well-known, 3PL business due to open a key DC in their growing network, based in Bedford. Our client operates in the 3PL space for multiple prestigious brands across the Retail, E-Commerce & Wholesale sectors, and they are committed to maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and overall operational efficiency. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role operates on a Monday to Friday, PM Shift basis of 14:00 - 22:00 with occasional flexibility required to suit business needs. Key Responsibilities: * People-Centric Leadership: Lead and inspire a dedicated team of 3 x Team leaders to reach their full potential. Your focus on the well-being and development of your staff will be the cornerstone of success whilst having a continuous improvement mindset. * Health & Safety: Uphold rigorous health and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety awareness throughout the warehouse and distribution arm of the business. * Performance Metrics: Continue to evolve the organisational approach to KPI’s, whilst ensuring existing and new site standardisation. * Supply Chain Excellence: Oversee all aspects of UK warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment and quality control. * WMS Expertise: Utilise your experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Business Systems to drive operational efficiency. Familiarity with WMS & ERP implementations is a definite plus. * Process Optimisation: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve productivity while ensuring quality and accuracy. * Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the seamless flow of goods from the warehouse to the end customer. Key Candidate Requirements: * Have a Logistics Distribution & Supply Chain background - Essential. * Have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience at a Warehouse Team Leader / FLM / Section Leader, Supervisor or Shift Manager level - Essential. * Have managed teams beyond 15+ employees through managerial reports - Essential. * Knowledge of IT / WMS & ERP systems – Advantageous. * Exceptional people management skills - Essential. * Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities - Essential. * Commutable to Bedford - Essential.
