We are currently looking for a talented Cloud Engineer with expertise in Azure Migrate and PowerShell to join our remote team. Apply promptly! Role Overview: In addition to engineering new cloud services & environments to architectural standards and enhancing existing capabilities, the Cloud Engineer will influence, verify, and inform the designs intended to deliver the next generation of digital services for our client. You will be responsible for working with Azure services, particularly Azure Migrate , to ensure smooth transitions to the cloud environment. You will also utilise your PowerShell scripting skills to automate processes, manage resources, and optimise cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support cloud migration projects using Azure Migrate . Design, implement, and manage cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure . Develop, test, and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell to streamline deployment, configuration, and management tasks. Building and implementing cloud systems and services that consistently meet or exceed expectations. Developing the automation necessary for on demand resource provisioning and user self-service. Implementing industry best practices across all cloud services and solutions. Managing the migration of legacy systems from on-premises to cloud. Delivering the secure migration of data from on-premises systems to services. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Azure . Strong hands-on experience with Azure Migrate for cloud migrations. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks. Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts, virtualization, and infrastructure as code (IaC). Familiarity with cloud networking, security, and governance best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator , Azure Solutions Architect , or Azure DevOps Engineer ). Experience with other scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., ARM Templates, Terraform). Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
