If you are an experienced Accounts Assistant looking to work part time hours, my client has the perfect opportunity. Working in the office, Monday to Friday, the Accounts Assistant will be helping with the day-to-day Accounting activities of a busy family run business embarking on an exciting expansion programme. Job duties of the Part Time Accounts Assistant are to: * Process purchase invoice, expenses, and payments. * Record bank and cash transactions, help prepare regular reconciliations of cash and bank accounts. * Develop good operational understanding of finance systems, internal controls and processes and recommend improvements where appropriate. * Organise and prioritise workloads and work to strict timetables. * Assist with finance and audit queries. * Develop external relationships with auditors, suppliers and partners. .Skills and experience required for the Accounts Assistant are: * Good basic financial knowledge and experience. * MS Excel skills. * Attention to detail. * Ability to communicate easily with non-finance staff, with experience of interacting with all levels within a business including operational managers. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver results to tight deadlines.
