Production Team Leader

Xpert Resourcing is partnering with a well-known manufacturing client who is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader. The ideal candidate will posses strong assembly and manufacturing experience and ideally have previous supervisory or leadership experience within a manufacturing setting. If you have a background in manufacturing and are ready to lead a team, we’d love to hear from you! Duties to Include: * Ensure that all team members are working in line with PPE requirements and safe systems of work * Lead daily meetings ensuring that continuous improvement initiatives are adhered to * Training new starters and recruitment * Ensuring health and safety is adhered to at all times * Managing the flow of work within the team * Maintaining cross training records for the team * Monitor 5S activities to ensure they are happening and that all tools and jigs are correct Experience/Skills Required: * Previous supervisory/team leader experience is advantageous * Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly techniques * Computer literate * Willingness to participate in lean implementation Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm Benefits: 25 days holiday +bank holidays Pension Health care Fantastic training opportunities If you have not received a response within 5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
