Location: Croydon Contract: Full-Time, Maternity Cover About the Role: I am recruiting on behalf of an outstanding secondary school in Croydon seeking a Qualified Biology Teacher. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging biology lessons to KS3 and KS4, using differentiation to meet diverse learning needs. Prepare students for GCSE Biology exams, providing guidance to achieve their full potential. Assess and report on student progress in line with school policies and Ofsted standards. Participate in science curriculum development and share best teaching practices. Foster an inclusive, safe, and respectful classroom environment and contribute to extracurricular activities. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Biology or related field and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching biology at the secondary school level, ideally within the UK education system. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum, GCSE, and A-Level Biology.
