Programme Manager - Enabling & Earthworks
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead and oversee Enabling and Earthworks delivery under the Civil Works Alliance Agreement. You will direct critical early-stage civil engineering activities and ensure successful planning, design, and execution of key infrastructure components, preparing the site for a major construction projects!
Key Responsibilities
Manage full lifecycle delivery of Enabling and Earthworks, including bulk excavation, backfill, and early civil structures (e.g., sea defence, diaphragm walls). Ensure projects meet safety, quality, time, and cost objectives. Lead multidisciplinary project teams and liaise with contractors, consultants, and advisors. Oversee contract management, cost control, risk, and project scheduling.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven record in complex, regulated project delivery, ideally within nuclear or a similar sector. Experience of managing / influencing contractors, consultants and other advisors throughout large and complex construction projects. Proficient in scheduling, programming, risk, and earned value tools. Experience with multi-disciplinary projects and managing high-value contracts. Location: Suffolk - Hybrid Salary: £115,000 - £125,000
