Class 1 HGV Driver

Class 1 Driver - £17 - £20 per hour ONGOING! Pure Staff are currently recruiting for 2 x Class 1 Driver (s) for our client in Coventry. They are a leading company within the distribution network and have a large fleet of 30+ lorries and are one of the UK's biggest retail brands supplying nationally all over the country. A Class 1 Driver is paid the following: £17ph for week days between (Apply online only) Monday to Sunday £20ph for night shifts between (Apply online only) Monday to Sunday £50 per shift BONUS for working Saturday and/or Sunday Guaranteed a minimum of 8 hours per shift ONGOING work with a well-known company with outstanding reputation **This is a cross over client so the rate does change between these times** Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as holiday pay is paid separately when you book annual leave. ** NO Limited Company Contractors ** **Candidates of Pure Staff DO NOT pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or or Payroll Processing Fees.** DAY Drivers - the job will entail up to 12-hour shifts, 3 to 6 drops per shift delivering to stores. Usual start time will be between 02:00 and 04:00. Shift pattern: - Monday to Friday / Monday to Saturday (5 then 6) Please note - nights out may be required on this contract (paid at £25 per night out) Pure Staff are one of the most successful agencies in this area, with a vast knowledge of transport and logistics our experienced consultants will look after you and get you the work YOU want. Our client is looking for a candidate that can not only drive a HGV Class 1 vehicle successfully but that can communicate well with the transport team to ensure that all deliveries / collections are completed this includes a stop call wait procedure to maximise on productivity and keep drivers informed on possible delays or route changes. The perfect candidate will be of smart appearance with a polite nature, you will need to show willingness to give that little extra to ensure our clients end user has the best experience possible.
