We are working with an amazing Venue in Surrey and looking for a Head Chef for the kitchen. This role is based on 40 hours and will require some weekend work as well so likely every other weekend on rotational basis. Core hours are 8am to 4.30pm and then 8am to 3.30pm in Winter months.
This role is a Head Chefs dream with a garden kitchen on site and plenty of opportunities for local foraging in the grounds. You will use local suppliers for meat and other produce. You will have the chance to develop menu's and food offer so a chance to show off your skill and creativity.
The Head Chef will work with another experienced full time chef and also other help as required with other kitchen staff on site. You will produce a lunch offer daily as well as sandwiches and light snacks.
A creative head chef will be able to expand the current food offer and bring in more customers through the year, this will then potentially affect the uncapped yearly salary review as increased takings will be reflected in a good light
The opportunity to create a Sunday Lunch offering which is not currently offered could be the Head Chef's early chance to impress and the kitchen facilities enable you to produce whatever dishes you want.
If you are an experienced Head Chef and this role is local to you it could be a fantastic long term position working in conjunction with the Operations Manager who is great support and will enable you to make your food vision a reality
