Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Warrington
This is a great opportunity to join and established Tier 1 Contractor who have a turnover of over 1b annually and work on a number of complex interesting projects that can be valued in excess of 100m.
They work across a variety of sectors including the commercial, healthcare, education, residential, sports & leisure sectors as well as large scale frameworks across the UK.
The Role - Quantity Surveyor
As a Quantity Surveyor your role will be to work within & assist the commercial & construction teams to ensure the project is delivered successfully, while maintaining relationships, maximise commercial returns & manage risk.
You will be working on a large 80m commercial development in Warrington and will be responsible for the following:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare tenders - measure, put into packages, analyse
- Prepare variations/valuations
- Prepare Final Accounts
- Prepare s/c valuations
- Attend site client meetings
- Prepare client quotations/Estimates
- Liaise with Site Management
- Maintaining site records, control documents
- Measuring progress on site
- Consider Risk & opportunity
- CVR reports
- Cash management
- Timely application/invoices in line with client schedule
- Understand & assist in the implementation of the commercial strategy
- At all times act in a suitable & professional manner
Required Experience
- Completed (Degree/HND/HNC Upwards)
- Ability to effectively utilise a range of Microsoft Office tools
- Able to manipulate, manage/interrogate data
- Be fully conversant with the use of the Standard Method of Measurement
