The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across various humanities subjects, including History, Geography, Religious Studies, and Social Studies. You will play a crucial role in developing students' critical thinking, cultural awareness, and understanding of the world around them. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in accordance with the curriculum. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices, resources, and teaching strategies. Participate in school activities, events, and continuous professional development opportunities. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements. Support the school's ethos and values, promoting respect, integrity, and responsibility.Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Humanities or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching Humanities subjects at the secondary school level. Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and assessment frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
