Job Title: Key Stage Leader - Maths Location: Walnut Tree / Brooklands Farm, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire Contract Type: Permanent Placement (Starting January) Salary: Leadership Scale Hours: Full-time, Standard Teaching Hours with Full Teaching Responsibilities Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Key Stage Leader - Maths to join our school in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis, starting in January. The ideal candidate will be an experienced teacher with a passion for Mathematics and strong leadership skills, ready to guide and support both students and staff across a specific Key Stage. Key Responsibilities: Lead the teaching and learning of Maths within your designated Key Stage, ensuring the curriculum is delivered to a high standard. Manage and support a team of Maths teachers, fostering collaboration and ensuring best practices are shared and implemented. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. Monitor student progress and use data to inform teaching strategies and interventions. Lead initiatives to improve student outcomes in Maths and contribute to raising the overall standard of Mathematics teaching across the school. Support the development and implementation of school policies and contribute to the school's strategic goals. Organize and lead extra-curricular Maths-related activities, competitions, and events. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and extensive experience teaching Maths at secondary level. Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team or department. A track record of improving student outcomes in Mathematics. Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching. Experience in curriculum planning and delivery at Key Stage 3, 4, or 5.
