Fixed Income Trader

My client is looking for an Entry level Fixed Income Trader. They are one of the fastest-growing liquidity providers specialising in exchange-traded products. Their goal is to make ETPs accessible, easy to trade and invest in. They build long-term relationships with the asset managers who create all sorts of ETPs and the stock exchanges who list them. My client works alongside them to facilitate trading and to grow the ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in executing and managing fixed income trades (bonds, treasuries, etc.) across various global markets.
• Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and news that affect fixed income instruments.
• Support senior traders with daily tasks including trade execution, portfolio management, and risk analysis.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize quantitative models for trading strategies and risk management.
• Collaborate with developers to enhance and automate trading tools and platforms.
• Perform post-trade analysis to evaluate trade performance and strategy effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management guidelines

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Python, SQL, and Java for data analysis and automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
• Familiarity with financial instruments, especially fixed income products (bonds, treasuries, etc.).
• Basic understanding of trading platforms and financial markets.
