Technical Services Manager - Interiors Main Contractor Location: Central London office & projects (with flexible and remote working options) Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 (plus package, depending on experience) Company Overview: Our Client are a dynamic and forward-thinking Main Contractor with multiple divisions specialising in high-quality construction projects across London. Their Interiors division is dedicated to delivering exceptional Cat A, Cat B, Fit Out, Cut & Carve and Refurbishment projects within the commercial office sector. Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Services Manager to join their Interiors division. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our commercial office projects, ensuring that all fit out and refurbishment works are completed to the highest standards. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical knowledge, exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee the technical services for Cat A, Cat B, Fit Out, Cut & Carve, and Refurbishment projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets. * Provide expert guidance on all technical aspects of interior fit-out projects, including M&E coordination, structural modifications, and finishing works. * Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards, meeting all relevant building regulations, codes, and client expectations. * Work closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery. * Address and resolve any technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle, offering innovative solutions to maintain project momentum. * Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring their technical requirements are fully understood and met. * Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with Health & Safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment on all sites. * Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project delivery processes. Qualifications & Experience: * Minimum of 5 years of experience in the fit out construction industry, with a strong focus on commercial office projects. * Relevant technical qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field. * Proven track record of successfully managing technical services in Cat A, Cat B, Fit Out, Cut & Carve, and Refurbishment projects. * Strong understanding of M&E coordination and building services. * Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams. * A proactive, can-do attitude with a keen eye for detail and quality.
