We are looking for a Multiskilled Engineer to work on a Full Time, Permanent basis. Located in Bromsgrove, we are delighted to be supporting this long-standing business on an exclusive basis.
As a Multiskilled Engineer you will be responsible for
Mechanical and electrical assembly of machines
Wiring to control panels, basic pneumatics, making hoses (training given)
General workshop duties, drilling, tapping, use of hand tools, grinding, drill press, lathe.
Disassemble, clean and refurbish old machines, pumps, valves, working with cleaning chemicals.
Commission and testing machines, fault finding, training customers, demoing machines.
Skills Required
Background in workshop or service engineer.
Must be able to read mechanical and electrical drawings
Basic Microsoft Excel/Word Skills.
We are either looking for a workshop-based Engineer where you will attend site a couple of days a month.
Or if you are a Service Engineer and prefer being out on the road, this will be attending site more often maybe 2 / 3 days a week and then workshop based.
Please note: Some overnight stops would be expected, but it isn't every month. Some European or World travel, but once or twice a year only.
Working Hours
35 hours a week
Open times
Monday - Thursday 8:30 and 17:00
Friday 8:30 and 14:00
Flexible start and finish time based around the above times
(Start as early as 7:30am if needed)
Overtime is time and a half
Double time on Sunday, but very rare, if ever.
1.5x on Sunday if just travelling/flying.
Salary between 38k-40K
