Role: The Other House is looking for a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager who has
passion
for delivering exceptional culinary experiences and driving top class standards. This individual needs to have a strong background in managing a commercial kitchen, in particular catering for a strong breakfast and events trade
. The Kitchen Manager will report to the F&B Manager on a property level and will manage the overall performance of the kitchen team, making sure that the kitchen operation is running smoothly, is fully compliant with all rules and regulations, meeting all targets including;
financial goals, team member performances and guest satisfaction.
You: Previous
experience in a Kitchen Manager role
Certified Level 3 Food Hygiene holder
Experience in hotel kitchen operations, with specific experience delivering Breakfast and Events
Exceptional people manager, who leads by example, and is passionate about developing people.
Strong desire
to drive efficiencies through adoption of technical systems
Ability to ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene standards
Ability to complete food hygiene and environmental health report
A passion for people and a desire to develop them
Previous
experience in ordering and overseeing daily kitchen inventory including the use of procurement,
EPOS
and other operational IT systems
Previous
experience in managing food and
labour
cost with a focus on delivering profitability whilst ensuring high quality and value to our guests
Sustainable and creative mindset when it comes to cooking and food handling
Great command of English
verbally and written
