Senior Frontend Engineer – Shape the Future of DeFi! Location: City of London (office-based full time initially)Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Negotiable salary + share options & tokens – we are open to discussing expectations.About the Role:We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our mission in developing the first fully decentralised perpetuals exchange (DEX) built on an EVM chain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing both desktop and mobile interfaces, helping to define the user-facing side of our DEX.Reporting directly to the CTO, you will lead frontend development, ensuring the delivery of responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance interfaces that integrate seamlessly with backend systems.Key Responsibilities:Architect and implement desktop and mobile clients, focusing on frontend features to provide a seamless user experience.Build responsive and reliable interfaces, integrating with backend endpoints and data streams.Work collaboratively with Backend engineers, Graphic Designers, and Product Designers to deliver fast, intuitive, and reliable user solutions.Mentor and guide frontend team members on best engineering practices.Ensure the delivery of production-ready code, utilising Websockets, REST APIs, and modern frameworks such as React, React Native, and Redux.About You:6+ years of frontend engineering experience.Proven experience designing and developing both desktop and mobile UIs.Strong proficiency in CSS, Typescript, React, React Native, Redux (or React Hooks), or similar frameworks.Experience using Websockets and REST APIs to enhance client interfaces.Ability to break down complex tasks into manageable components, while reusing common features across projects.Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives to launch products.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Bonus Points:Previous experience in consumer technology or startups.Interest or background in financial technology or trading systems.Familiarity with EVM, DEXs, Perpetuals, and emerging DeFi technologies.Why Work With Us?Generous salary, equity, and token package.Comprehensive health insurance for you and your family.Professional development opportunities, including training programmes and conferences.Generous holiday allowance and paid time off policies.A modern, dynamic work environment with state-of-the-art equipment.Fun company-sponsored activities and team-building events.
