Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor Location: East Midlands, Nottinghamshire, Nottingham Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Primary Industry: Construction, New Build Housing Salary: £40000 - £50000 Per annum Benefits: Bonus scheme, car allowance or company car, private pension scheme, private healthcare, life insurance, additional benefits Job Duties: Assist in the preparation of tender and contract documents Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work Perform risk and value management and cost control Advise on procurement strategy Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders Allocate work to subcontractors Provide advice on contractual claims Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports Value completed work and arrange payments Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry Strong numerical and financial management skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in relevant software applications Knowledge of construction contracts and legal requirements Working Conditions: Standard office hours with occasional site visits Travel may be required depending on project locations Work in a fast-paced and demanding environment Collaborate with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and project teams If you would like to learn more about this opportunity, call Chloe on (phone number removed)
