SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN Learning Support Assistant Protocol are working with a SEN School in Windsor to provide Temp to Perm Learning Support Assistants to join their teams on either a full time basis. They are seeking individuals who are empathetic, driven and most importantly passionate about working with young people.The role will entail working on a 1:1 or small group basis within their primary section, to support them with the aim of improved engagement with their learning. You may support children with Special Educational Needs/ Disabilities (SEND) or Social Emotional Mental Health needs (SEMH). Whilst experience of working in an education setting may be beneficial, it is not essential. Prior candidates who were successful had backgrounds in: Youth Work, Care/ Hospital experience, Art/ Creative backgrounds, Psychology/ Sociology Graduates. This list is not exhaustive, so please get in touch if you are keen to kickstart your career in education.
