Day Engineer

Position: Days Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical)

Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Days Engineer with expertise in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines to maintain high engineering standards and ensure precise maintenance within our critical site environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance activities during daytime hours to ensure optimal operational standards.
• Manage and maintain systems such as:
  • Boiler Systems
  • Cooling Towers
  • Air Handling Units (AHUs)
  • Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
  • Pumps and Motors
  • Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Low Voltage (LV) / High Voltage (HV) Systems
  • HV Switching
  • Changing Ballasts
  • Emergency Light Testing
  • Electrical Installations
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules to improve equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with management to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a critical site environment such as a data center.
• Electrical or Mechanical qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of relevant systems and equipment.
• Leadership skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to accommodate occasional overtime when required.
