Job Specification For: Engine Inspector Ref: VR/04972 Inspire Resourcing are Recruiting for an Engine Inspector to join our well-established client based in Chesterfield. Do you have experience within similar role and looking for a new challenge? Then we want to hear from you! Main duties: * Record all information on the receipt of a warranted unit * Compare supplied details to confirm the identity of the unit with the correct technical information, warranty information and customer details * Collect all relevant customer failure information for analytical debate before the disassembly of the unit * Plan inspection route to determine the best direction for root cause analysis * Carry out technical analysis * Present all relevant failure information for technical analysis by the technical team Skills and Experience * High level of Technical Automotive Education and qualification * Extensive experience with Powertrain products, their operation and fitment * Root cause analysis and investigational skills * Team Player Benefits * Contributory pension scheme * Life assurance * Employee Assistance Programme * Discounted Health Club memberships * Hospital Plan and Online GP * Online Mental Wellbeing Support * Online retail discount * Staff discount Salary up to £30,000 DOE
