Electronic Technician

Position: Audio Visual Electronics Technician Location: Rochdale Salary: £28,500 Hours: Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, with an early finish at 11 am on Fridays. KO2's client are looking for a proactive and skilled Audio Visual Lead Technician to join a leading electronics repair business in Rochdale. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on hands-on work and has the leadership qualities to guide a team. Key Responsibilities: Technical Expertise: Repair and maintain a variety of touch screen systems used in university and educational settings. This includes motherboard repairs, power supply replacements, fault finding down to board level, and uploading new software. Product Variety: Work on up to 15 different products, handling tasks like replacing LED backlights and performing modular repairs. Leadership: Lead and motivate a small team, manage shop floor priorities, and ensure that customer deadlines and expectations are met. Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction throughout the repair process.What We're Looking For: A solid background in electronics, particularly in Audio Visual systems. Hands-on experience in fault finding, repairs, and software updates. A proactive individual with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage both technical work and team dynamics.
