Maintenance Person

A leading national retail organisation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join their dedicated team. This is a full-time, permanent position based across various locations, primarily between Chelmsford, Romford, Basildon, and other Greater London stores. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing facilities, equipment, and fixtures, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out routine maintenance checks on various fixtures and building structures. General repairs such as painting, fixing fences, and mending shelves. Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations. Assisting with emergency repairs when needed. Collaborating with external contractors when specialist work is required.Candidate Requirements: Proven experience in general maintenance or a related trade. Basic knowledge of tasks such as painting, fixing fences, and shelf repairs. Must possess a valid driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle. Own basic tools for day-to-day maintenance tasks. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Excellent problem-solving skills.
