CLASS 1 (C+E) LGV TRUCK DRIVER We are hiring Class C+E Drivers for our rapidly expanding needs within the UKAs a dedicated Haulier transporting exclusively for a global player in e-commerce industry, we are looking at recruiting full-time and part-time drivers to be pulling customers trailers between their sites. In this position, you will play a key role in keeping our commitment to exceed customer expectations and make sure customer orders, large or small, are delivered on time at the right place with the use of high-quality trucks (Our LGV Drivers Pay & Benefits:• Competitive Base Salary on a Monthly payroll with punctual payment of salary + expenses• A personable friendly atmosphere Consistent work frequency, offering dedicated shift blocks• 23 days Holiday plus Bank Holidays per annum Excellent on-site facilities• Top of the line equipment and technology Uniform and full PPE supplied• Driver training available to assist drivers Expenses paid towards meal assistance and phone• Periodic Bonuses may be applicable depending on performance• Employee Assistance Programme (24 hour helpline from Health Assured to support both you and yourimmediate family)• Vehicles fitted with Netradyne camera system for driver safety protection, plus up to date (PSS) forLondon General Responsibilities:• Adhere to a strict safety and quality standards on and off the road, attention to detail to ensure deliveriesare completed as per the correct process,• Interact in a positive and professional manner with customer and general public while delivering products to customers’ business locations, also note that you will not be expected to load/unload trailers that will be the responsibility of the sites you will be transporting to and from.• Ability to follow instructions, work on your own initiative as well as part of a team and provide goodcustomer service• Dedication and commitment and flexible to service demands, CDL Truck Driver Requirements:• Hold a valid C+E licence, Drivers card, DQC.• Understand and comply to tachograph and drivers’ hours regulations• No current Driver CPC Card suspension or revocation• Respect for the vehicle/ trailers, and Cabs must be kept clean, litter free and ABIDE BY NO SMOKING Rules• Full UK or Euro Driving Licence held for longer than 3 year and less than 6 penalty points with no active IN,DD, DR or TT codes, must have up to date driving experience• Own a smartphone with 5GB of data, for use of a specific App for work coverage with route viewing andinstructions, monthly expense paid for the use of own phone.• Pre- Employment Background including a criminal Screening Program needs to be passed• Must pass a physical and pre-employment drug screen• Ability to operate and navigate a tractor trailer, also a GPS and use a specific App for Work Coverage• Right to work in the UK and a fluency in English Language (preferred) Upton Transport Services Ltd are an equal opportunities service provider, we make recruiting decisions based on your experience and skills and are passionate to support veterans and ex-emergency service personnel
