This is the perfect role for someone who has experience working in a SOC (security operations centre), threat analyst, or security analyst role within a secure environment. If you have a strong understanding of network security principles, including access control, data loss prevention, behavioural analytics, and firewalls, this position will be an excellent fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilise SIEM (security information and event management) and other security monitoring or threat detection tools to identify and analyse potential security threats.
Conduct intelligence analysis to assess the organisation's position within the threat landscape.
Develop and maintain scripts in languages such as Bash, Perl, Python, or PowerShell.
Collaborate with the team to analyse high-level security incidents and conduct proactive security design for clients.
Utilise forensic tools for data mining and research to support investigations into various security cases.
Produce high-level reports to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
Requirements:
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work on a shift pattern.
Active SC clearance with eligibility for DV clearance.
