Marketing & CSR Intern

Editec is a leading operator in the sports betting and lottery industry across Africa. We are dedicated to providing exceptional entertainment experiences while fostering social responsibility and community development.Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing and CSR Intern to join our team for 3 months (with potential to extend). This intern will play a key role in managing our social media presence and supporting our communication strategies. The ideal candidate is passionate about marketing, has a strong passion for social media trends, and is committed to making a positive impact through corporate social responsibility initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management:Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok)Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with our online community.Analyze social media performance metrics and provide insights to improve engagement and reach.Content Creation:Develop compelling and creative content for social media, blog posts, newsletters, and other communication channels.Assist in the production of multimedia content such as videos, graphics, and infographics.Marketing Support:Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns.Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed.Qualifications:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.Passion for social responsibility and community development.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is a big bonus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.** Please note that we operate on a hybrid working model of 3 days per week at our office in Southwark, and 2 days working from home!
