Job Description
Our client an insurance company is looking for a Senior Associate to join their underwriting operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Underwriting Support:
- Review and monitor submission processing and clearance according to service levels.
- Manage tasks related to the underwriting lifecycle, including analysis, quote preparation, non-renewals, accounting, document issuance, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Handle account documentation and storage, including policies, reports, pricing models, and reinsurance contracts.
2. Data and Document Management:
- Ensure underwriting submissions are stored and indexed within service levels.
- Enter policy data accurately and on time.
- Perform data cleansing and input additional risk information as needed.
- Collaborate with underwriters and brokers to correct premiums efficiently.
3. Compliance and Controls:
- Support the operations team in addressing audit actions and internal controls.
- Monitor and adhere to regulatory compliance and internal policies.
4. Procedures and Training:
- Create, maintain, and review standard operating procedures.
- Oversee training and onboarding for operations and other business functions.
- Promote process standardization and best practices.
5. Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management:
- Represent operations in stakeholder meetings as needed.
- Support the design and implementation of process, systems, data, and regulatory changes.
6. Additional Duties:
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Assist with the recruitment process for the operations management team.

- Proven ability to use data analysis and insights to track operational performance.
- Proven experience in documenting processes, including procedures and process mapping.
- Familiarity with top-tier underwriting and support systems, based on previous experience.
