Lead Financial Cost Modeller

SC Cleared Lead Cost Modeller / Financial Modeller with central government experience - 3 days in Westminster non negotiable - 12 months + - £650 - £750 per day inside IR35 Essential Criteria: Strong financial skills (CCAB Qualified Accountant - or equivalent); Proficiency using advanced excel, including complex formulas and macros; Excellent track record of cost modelling large projects and strong financial modelling experience; Experience in producing assumptions documentation alongside financial cost models, ensuring logs/audit evidence are regularly maintained and suitably reflect the cost model inputs; Ability to interpret large volumes of complex data to identify an efficient and clear plan in order to produce accurate and concise updates to the financial cost model; Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-stakeholder environment, developing successful relationships between own team and other areas; Proven experience of cost and schedule risk analysis and scenario analysis; Experience presenting to senior leadership, stakeholders and SRO Desirable Criteria: Experience producing model documentation, including assumption logs, and contributing through AQA or other external reviews; Knowledge of Green Book and other government frameworks such as the Financial Reporting Manual (FReM), Consolidated Budgeting Guidance (CBG) etc.; Experience working with commercial finance data, such as bid reviews; creation of bid templates; supplier template reviews; supplier financial stability assessments etc.; Experience in visualising data, to relay complex data to a non-technical audienceSC Cleared Lead Cost Modeller / Financial Modeller with central government experience - 3 days in Westminster non negotiable - 12 months + - £650 - £750 per day inside IR35 Damia Group Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
