Carbon60 is delighted to be working alongside a leading MRO aviation company for a Logistics Tool Lead. Reporting to the Logistics Manager within logistics engineering support the Logistics Tool Lead will have the following skills: Ensure adherence to STS logistic processes and identify potential improvements.
- Experience in logistics and tooling support, aviation experience preferred.
- Work independently on night or day shifts.
- Good communication and organisation skills.
- Able to understand and follow Risk Assessments.
- Experience of using Material Handling Equipment preferred.
- Leadership to deputise for Logistics Manager as and when required.
Responsibilities of the Logistics Tool Lead include:
- Conduct internal logistic assurance checks
- Support tooling management
- Conduct hand over briefing at the end of every shift
- Report any concerns to the Logistics Manager or shift lead as required.
- Participate in daily work allocation briefs and customer meetings.
