NEW OPENING!! Boxcar is growing and we are looking for a Sous Chef to join our opening team! Our Sous Chef will: Work with the Head Chef on menu development. Deliver our menu, from breakfast and brunch dishes to light lunches and eveningdishes. Lead and mentor kitchen teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering, scheduling, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring the highest quality and freshness of ingredients. Collaborate closely with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptionalguestexperiences and ensure seamless service. What Were Looking For: Experience in a similar senior role within a neighbourhood all day dining establishment. Exceptional organisational skills and keen attention to detail. Passion for delivering outstanding food quality and customer satisfaction. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain composure under pressure.
