Quantity Surveyor - Civils

Mane are looking for an an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Client's team, working on civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in reinforced concrete (RC) frames and reinforced concrete structures, with a strong background in managing and delivering large-scale civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all costs relating to civil engineering projects, with a focus on reinforced concrete and RC frames.
• Prepare, submit, and review budgets and cost estimates for projects.
• Perform detailed measurement and valuation of work completed on-site.
• Monitor and report on the financial progress of projects, ensuring cost control and profitability.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, and other reports as required.
• Conduct risk and value management and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure that all work adheres to health and safety guidelines and other relevant standards.
• Negotiate and settle final accounts with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically within civil engineering and reinforced concrete projects.
• Strong knowledge of RC frames and reinforced concrete construction techniques.
• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering (degree or equivalent).
• Proficient in the use of industry software and tools for estimating and cost control.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
