We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Quality Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role is to provide support for all aspects of Quality to ensure the business achieves QMS ISO9001 objectives and targets. This position will both support and assist current and future quality activities.

Key Responsibilities: Play an Integral part in ensuring an effective quality management system is adhered to from Goods-In to Despatch. Review, develop and introduce key QA processes within the business.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality requirements for new product development. Educate the workforce on their responsibility in relation to quality assurance. Develop and roll out effective training in relation to quality compliance. Develop and implement tools in order to raise awareness in relation to quality. Ensure effective root cause analysis and reporting occurs as required. Produce a monthly objective report to the Ops Manager. Complete analysis and report on quality statistics (e.g. cost of quality). Complete weekly RCCA status report. Lead Root cause and Corrective action investigations in all aspects of production, customer complaint and supply chain. Manage and perform internal and external audits, audit reporting and RCCA management. Developing SOP’s, Work Instructions and clear standards of practice. Ensuring control and adherence within the manufacturing environment. Promote a culture which ensures discipline of standards and expectations are followed and met at all times. Developing compilation of quality control plans. Monitoring and measuring Quality of the above. Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement. Monitor and control all aspects of change management on site. Manage risk-based Quality Inspection activity.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
