Building Surveyor

Our client is currently seeking a Building Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage in extensive building contract administration and ensure high standards in Council-owned housing projects. Key Responsibilities: Undertaking extensive building contract administration Preparing legal contract tender documentation and specifications Supervising and monitoring capital contracts for Council-owned housing Carrying out inspections of void and tenanted properties to agree work specifications Delivering a customer-focused reactive maintenance service Engaging with residents to provide support, advice and interventions Ensuring prompt and high-quality repair works Monitoring and supervising contractors to meet performance targets and customer satisfaction Job Requirements: Experience in building surveying Strong report-writing skills Understanding of building contract administration Ability to prepare legal contract tender documentation Experience in supervising and monitoring capital contracts Proficient in carrying out property inspections and agreeing work specifications Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills Proactive engagement with residents and stakeholders If you are an experienced Building Surveyor looking for a contract role where you can make a significant impact, we would love to hear from you
