Electrical Estimator

We are seeking someone who is committed, driven and enjoys working within a small team to support the company’s growth & success. Electrical Estimator·       Full-time with competitive salary £ 30 000 - £ 50 000 per annum (based on experience)·       Performance related bonus·       Reasonable expenses·       Use of company pool car for business related travel·       25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays with an additional 5 company day holidaysTypical Daily Duties:·       Adjudicating enquiries with clients and the internal sales team·       Reviewing agreed tenders, analysing specifications, and designs to complete take offs·       Calculating the cost of materials, labour, and prelimsObtaining quotes from specialist or named suppliers Communication with clients to manage needs and expectations Making use of relevant computer software such as Excel and WordVisiting prospective sites to support tender bidsVisiting clients to present costs and convert salesLiaising closely with others team members within the company to compile a tender return or bidAttributes:·       Must be proactive, committed and hardworking·       Have a positive attitude to work and contribute enthusiasm to a team-based environment·       Vital to enjoy and be able to work within and as part of a very passionate team·       Show understanding and have the ability to apply themselves working under pressure to meet deadlines·       Show flexibility and initiative within the role·       Communication skills are key ·       High attention to detail Key Skills:·       Electrical experience would be a distinct advantage·       Experience with estimating software packages·       Microsoft office experience·       Excellent verbal and written skills·       Administrative experience beneficial ·       Customer care and communication skills imperative79 Group are a turnkey MEP contractor & lighting manufacturer based in Staverton, Gloucestershire, and work across the UK. Check us out at www.79group.co.uk
