Data Science Manager Salary: Up to £90,000 LONDON COMPANY PROFILE You will create and deliver complex analytics models, enhancing customer understanding and shaping future strategies. This role involves leading data science projects with agile methodologies to improve customer experience, engagement, revenue, and business efficiencies. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead Data Science Projects : Manage all data science projects within the team, challenging existing approaches, and developing new models for continuous improvement. Model Development and Deployment : Develop and enhance models for customer behavior, deploy them for use across analytical teams, and create segmentations for targeted marketing. Marketing Analytics and Measurement : Innovate methods to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and deliver complex behavioral analytics. Agile Management and Prioritization : Manage the work backlog using agile practices, prioritizing various analytical needs effectively. Stakeholder Collaboration : Build relationships with stakeholders, translating their goals into data science products. Innovation and External Awareness : Stay updated on analytics trends and competitor technologies, supporting new channels and ensuring maximum value delivery to the organization and customers. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Programming Proficiency : Extensive programming skills in Python or R, strong SQL ability, and adherence to coding efficiency and best practices. Analytical and Statistical Expertise : Excellent skills in predictive modeling, segmentation, time series analysis, and decision-making applications. Cloud Platform Experience : Proficiency with cloud-based platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, and Google BigQuery, and experience deploying workflows with tools like Airflow or Databricks. Product Deployment Track Record : Proven experience taking data science products from conception to production deployment. Commitment to Quality : Strong focus on accuracy, rigour, and quality assurance, including coding documentation, version control (GitHub), data governance, and data quality. Curiosity and Commercial Insight : Keen interest in understanding business problems and data nuances, using analysis and data science with a commercial focus, and effective storytelling with visual support. SALARY AND BENEFITS Salary range: up to £90,000. Hybrid working model.
