IT Category Manager

Join our client as an experienced IT Procurement Professional! With their ambitious growth strategy focused on both organic expansion and acquisitions, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact. Key responsibilities Develop a comprehensive category strategy for long-term planning, negotiation, and compliance. Identify risks and issues in existing contracts and implement strategic improvements. Manage and establish SLAs and KPIs with suppliers to enhance performance. Foster regular engagement with suppliers, building strategic, value-driven relationships. Oversee end-to-end sourcing activities and support the Head of Indirect Procurement in high-risk and high-value opportunities. About you Strong background in IT procurement, with experience in SaaS solutions, networks, and telecoms. Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives. Capable of advising on sourcing strategies and accountable for the entire strategic sourcing process. In-depth understanding of technology supplier markets, bringing insights and innovation to deliver commercial advantages to our client. Excellent communication and influencing skills. Results-oriented with strong multitasking and prioritisation abilities. Experience in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) is essential. Pursuing MCIPS qualification is a plus but not mandatory. Salary up to £75,000 Hybrid working, 2 days on site in London.
