The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working across all stages of the design process, with strong technical expertise and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. A deep understanding of UK building regulations and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently is essential.
Experience, Responsibilities and Skills for the role of Senior Architectural Technologist:
- CIAT accredited, or working towards
- Demonstrable experience in a Senior Architectural Technologist role, with a portfolio showcasing work on residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
- In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, planning requirements, and sustainability principles.
- Strong technical skills in creating detailed design drawings and specifications.
- Ability to coordinate with architects, contractors, and engineers, ensuring smooth project delivery.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to offer practical and creative solutions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with regulations, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, including client engagement and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Portsmouth.
