Since 2006, Spear’s has set the standard for insightful commentary on wealth, business, arts, and culture.We are seeking a Digital Editor to lead our digital strategy and content execution. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team at an exciting time as we continue our ambitious growth as a digital-first brand.The Digital Editor will be responsible for managing and executing content strategies for SpearsWMS.Com, ensuring that content is SEO-optimised, engaging, and aligned with the brand's values. The role will also oversee Spear’s social media channels and email newsletters, driving community growth and engagement.Key responsibilities:Lead and manage all digital content across platforms, including SpearsWMS.Com and spears500.ComCollaborate with the Head of Research to continuously improve Spear’s 500 and other rankings contentOversee and grow Spear’s social media presence, particularly on LinkedInPlan and execute effective digital content strategiesDevelop and expand the Spear’s newsletter offeringEnsure content adheres to SEO strategies and is on-brandMonitor and analyse website traffic, adapting strategies to increase engagementManage key client relationships and deliver successful client content campaignsSkills and experience:Proven experience in a Digital Editor or similar role within a high-profile media brandStrong understanding of SEO and analytics for web contentExpertise in managing social media platforms and building engaged communitiesExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skillsAbility to develop long and short-term content plans and deliver them effectivelyEntrepreneurial, proactive, and results-drivenCompany benefits:25 days' holiday (plus bank holidays)Additional days off for your birthday, health and well-being day and volunteering dayHybrid working model, 3 days in the office per weekSubscription to the New Statesman and all other online content published by the GroupAccess to a discounted shopping programCycle to work schemeEnhanced maternity, paternity and adoption payEnhanced company sick pay after probationApplications meeting the selection criteria will be reviewed as soon as possible.Spear Publishing values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer.
