Clerk of Works/ Highway Construction Supervisor
An opportunity has arisen for a Clerk of Works/Highways Construction Supervisor with experience in Highways construction to join a client in South London.
You will be a key part of the team involved in a range of highway infrastructure and traffic projects and your main duties include overseeing all construction activities on site, undertaking regular inspections of materials, workmanship and construction processes as well as monitoring the progress against timescales and ensuring the schemes are delivered within budget and on time.
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
Overseeing all construction activities on site and undertaking regular quality monitoring inspections
Checking the design and build contractor programmes and schedules of work
Monitoring the contractor's progress against timescales and providing progress reports on costs and budgets
Ensuring all schemes are delivered on time and in adherence to project plans and specifications
