Tooling Engineer

Tooling Engineer Coventry Based £14.00 - £16.00 per hour Days Permanent Role   Currently recruiting for an experienced Tooling Engineer for a Manufacturing company based in Coventry. This is a varied role and will include ensuring components are produced correctly by supplying correct and accurate tooling to operatives.   Role responsibilities – For the role of Tooling Engineer, you will ensure that machine processes are running at optimum efficiency in regards the tooling required You will support and advise other employees when required in regard to tooling Effective and regular communication with CNC supervisors and programme writers ensuring loading board instructions are accurate and up to date and that the section runs at maximum production You will ensure that all tooling requirements are in place before component is loaded onto machine For the role of Tooling Engineer, you will ensure that tooling set up sheets and kitting lists are adhered to and assist in developing company procedures You will feedback to line managers and supervisors and changes to programmes before changing masters You will ensure that tooling is set correctly and accurately ready for use by operators for the role of Tooling Engineer. Tooling is reused including regrinding of tools ensuring at all times that tooling is effective and efficient.  Role requirements – You will have a strong understanding of Machining and Toolroom for the role of Tooling Engineer. For the role of Tooling Engineer, a background with changing tools and understand these processes is essential.
