Student Recruitment Manager (Higher Education)

Central Film School is a specialist accredited Higher Education institution based in Clapham, South London, that offers BA, MA and short courses in filmmaking, acting and screenwriting. The school has provided students from all over the world the fundamental skills needed to pursue a career in the screen industries for over 17 years and, as part of its missions, is committed to amplifying under-represented voices in the screen industries. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Recruitment & Admissions Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end admissions and recruitment processes at Central Film School. The ideal candidate will drive the recruitment of students, manage the admissions cycle, and ensure a high-quality, engaging experience for prospective students. Salary: £32,000 - £35,000, plus OTE bonus Recruitment Strategy & Execution Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract a diverse range of students both nationally and internationally. Admissions Management Lead and manage the admissions and recruitment team, ensuring team members are well-trained, motivated, and working collaboratively to achieve targets. Data & Reporting Monitor recruitment trends and admissions data to provide regular reports on recruitment performance, market insights, and application conversion rates. Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks. Relationship Building Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, universities, and relevant industry networks to promote the school and strengthen the recruitment pipeline. Event Management Working with the Marketing & Communications team, assist in organising and delivering open days, virtual events, and recruitment fairs to promote Central Film School and engage prospective students. Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials that effectively communicate the value of Central Film School’s programs. Student Support: Outreach A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Education, Business, Film Studies). - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in student recruitment or admissions, preferably within higher education or creative industries. - Demonstrated success in developing and executing recruitment strategies that deliver results. - Strong knowledge of the admissions process, including managing application systems and CRM tools. - Experience with data analysis, reporting, and the ability to work with key performance indicators (KPIs). - Familiarity with UK and international student recruitment markets and regulatory requirements. Able to develop and implement long-term recruitment strategies, while also adapting to the changing landscape of the higher education sector. Meticulous in managing the admissions process and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, while maintaining a high level of customer service. Enthusiastic, with a drive to exceed recruitment targets and contribute to the school's growth and reputation.
