Health & Safety Advisor required for a top civil engineering contractor
Navartis is working with a Top UK Civil Engineering Contractor who operate in Construction and Infrastructure sectors and work on many prestigious major projects across the UK.
You would join their team as a Health and Safety Advisor, and work on some major projects across the UK.
They have completed numerous projects around the UK and currently have some prestigious projects in the South East of the UK that they are currently working on involving tunnels, shafts, earthworks, reinforced concrete, and enabling works.
Experience required:
- Civil Engineering Sector background.
- 4 years + experience in Health and Safety
- Ideally experience of tunnelling, tunnels, shafts, heavy civil engineering projects.
- Experience working for a main contractor or specialist sub contractor
- Excellent communication skills
- Nebosh / Nebosh Construction
- IOSH / Tech Iosh / CM Iosh (desirable)
- UK Driving license and flexibility to travel to sites around the South and potentially stay over when required.
Duties include:
- Reporting to and working with the business unit SHEQ Manager
- Advise and support managers and supervisors on the projects
- Carry out inspections of site and work places
- Incident / Accident investigations
- Project safety documents
- Site inductions

Permanent position with great pipeline of projects
Projects are across London and around the South of the UK (Must be able to travel and potentially stay away)
£50,000 to £60,000 depending on your experience level

Full expenses for travel and lodgings if required
