Senior Software Engineer - Python & Java Motorsport Industry Fully remote, with on-site attendance (pit side) on race days £60,000 - £90,000 paid b2b A client of ours, an entrepreneur with 2 successful tech companies that specialise in sports technology, is starting a new venture within the racing space . He spends his time out of work as a professional racing driver, and is using his knowledge of this domain to work on a new piece of software This Software ingests race and car data, with an aim to enable greater visibility on key information to allow the racing team to make better data-driven decisions The Role As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help with the ongoing development of this platform, collaborating with 3 other Engineers and a Data Scientist. The software is currently in an early alpha stage, so there are plenty of opportunities to work on a range of new features, working on bug fixes and growing out an application at its early stages. There will be lots of opportunities to attend race days as part of this role, where you will see the practical implementation of the software that you are developing, as well as speaking to the users to understand their requirements further Requirements 5+ years experience of Python & Java , as well as strong experience working with APIs Ability to mentor junior and mid level engineers An active interest in the motorsport industry Willingness to work on a product in the early stages of development Ability to travel for race-days across England Senior Software Engineer - Python & Java Motorsport Industry Fully remote, with on-site attendance (pit side) on race days £60,000 - £90,000 paid b2b
