Prospero Teaching are seeking dedicated and experienced SEN Primary Class Teachers to join an outstanding SEN school in South West London, SW16. Contract Type: Temporary with the opportunity to go permanent About the School: Ofsted Rating: Outstanding Pupil Age Range: Primary Specialism: Autism (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of non-verbal pupils with Autism. Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with teaching assistants and other support staff to ensure each pupil's educational and developmental needs are met. Monitor and assess pupil progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching primary-aged children. Experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with ASD, PMLD, and severe learning difficulties. A proactive and empathetic approach to teaching pupils with SEN. Strong communication and teamwork skills. An understanding of the challenges faced by children with Autism and severe learning difficulties, and a commitment to supporting their development.
