Laboratory Technician

Job Title: Laboratory Technician** **Location:** Wolverhampton **Work Schedule:** Tuesday - Saturday, 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM **Start Date:** Monday, 9th September Kenton Black are working with a Water Testing Facility based in Wolverhampton, seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting experiments, sample analysis, and recording and interpreting results to support the scientific investigations and product developments. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Key Responsibilities of a Lab Technician: - Conduct laboratory tests and experiments according to established protocols and procedures. - Prepare samples for analysis and operate laboratory equipment with precision. - Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure their optimal functioning. - Record all test results and data accurately, maintaining a high level of integrity in the reporting process. - Collaborate with other laboratory staff, supervisors, and research personnel to achieve project objectives. - Manage the reagent preparation and inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary. Laboratory Technicians should have the following: - Experience working in a fast paced, high volume setting. - Valid RTW in the UK - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Ability to stand for long periods of time. - Excellent time management skills and the ability to work early morning shifts. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
