Front-End Engineer
About the Company:
My client is a dynamic and forward-thinking technology company specializing in financial data automation. As a Front-End Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in creating intuitive and user-friendly web applications that empower clients to harness the power of data.
Position Overview: As a Front-End Engineer, you will collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and develop cutting-edge user interfaces and experiences for web applications. Your primary focus will be on implementing user-facing features, ensuring high performance, and delivering a seamless and responsive user experience.
Key Responsibilities: • Translate wireframes and design concepts into functional web applications • Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code using modern JavaScript frameworks (React required, Angular or Vue.js a plus) • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate web applications with RESTful APIs • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser/platform compatibility • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices • Troubleshoot and debug technical issues
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) • At least 5 years of proven experience as a Front-End Engineer or similar role • Proven experience managing large projects • Desired experience at US-based technology companies (preferably Series B or above) • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) • Familiarity with front-end build tools, package managers, and bundlers • Understanding of web performance optimization techniques • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Experience with Django is a huge plus
